Pocket Fire is an Alternative Rock band based out of Carrollton, GA. They have been active in the music industry since February of 2023. Combining their individual influences and years of experience, they work tirelessly to explore, and push, the boundaries of Rock, Pop, R&B, Funk, and Jazz. Aptly coining their own genre term ‘Intergalactic Alt-Rock’. The band is currently finishing up their sixth release “Lowdown Man” which will be released on June 26th!
On the other side of their gigging world, Pocket Fire specializes in it's vastly diverse set list of cover songs which appeal to just about any type of audience they run across. They are able to learn songs and requests by clients extremely quickly (sometimes within minutes) and therefore have become a favored band to book for weddings, private parties and corporate events. They stay steadily booked with these types of gigs and thoroughly enjoy playing them.
Together this trio is a forced to be reckoned with. As a party band, they are able to create and maintain a strong, positive, and entertaining vibe for hours on end. With their original music, pulling from multiple styles and musical backgrounds to create something new and exciting is sure to enrich the Alternative Rock scene worldwide!

John Paul Barry
Singer/ Guitarist/ Songwriter/ Producer/ Mix & Mastering Engineer, John Paul Barry, is a graduate of the Georgia State School of Music (BS) and the Berklee College of Music (MA). John Paul is a experienced songwriter, producer, performer, and music instructor. His style of guitar playing covers a wide rage of genres and is steeped in a rich knowledge of music theory and improvisation.
John Paul is a seasoned performing musician. Having played well over 1,000 shows thus far in his career, both as a solo artist and with various groups. John Paul has spent his life in the pursuit of musical knowledge and training, and has gained expertise in the areas of music theory, music production, songwriting, improvisation, and performance. His many years of experience in these areas, paired with the vastly diverse amount of music he enjoys and has listened to over the years, has given him a unique style and perspective in his own writing and producing.
Jeremy Neese
Singer/ Drummer/ Songwriter, Jeremy Neese, is an accomplished songwriter, producer, and performer. He is also an experienced luthier who has spent years building and repairing instruments of all kinds, he is especially protégés when it comes to creating or repairing electrical work with all types of music equipment.
Jeremy has been writing music his entire life and is the founder and creative force behind multiple bands and side projects. In Pocket Fire, Jeremy embodies the ‘pocket’ through his ability to craft soulful and tasty drumbeats which serve as the foundation and heartbeat of the band.
Alex Ansaldo
Singer/ Bassist/ Songwriter and Pocket Fire’s newest member, Alex Ansaldo, has a Masters degree in Music Performance from the University of West Georgia and currently works as a music instructor and band director at Mount Zion Middle School.
Alex is a multi-instrumentalist who can play guitar, bass, piano, drums, trumpet, saxophone, and trombone at an advanced level. As a band director, he is also well versed in music composition and arrangement.
